Help by donating to our Recovery fund
On Sunday, May 17 the Chicago area saw torrential rain fall that caused the drains in the basement of the Bridgeport Art Center to backup and flood the Chicago Maritime Museum with a foot of sewage water. We are working diligently to clean and sanitize the museum to alleviate maximum damage to our artifacts, exhibits and museum space.
As we struggle through the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now faced with another natural disaster that will cost us energy and great expense to remediate. As devoted members and patrons, please consider a donation to the CMM Flood Relief Fund so that we may continue to tell the story of Chicago's growth through its waterways.
