Big Shoulders, Wet Feet

May 15th - July 22nd

Big Shoulders, Wet Feet is a group exhibition exploring water, memory, ecology, and Chicago’s regional waterways. It is our first Open Call to artists since we opened our doors at the Bridgeport Art Center in June of 2016, bringing together artists whose work considers water not simply as subject matter, but as force, memory, structure, atmosphere, labor, ecology, and lived environment throughout Chicago and the broader regional watershed.

Opening May 15th, the exhibit will be up in the museum's library through Wednesday, July 22nd, when we'll celebrate its closing in style with our "Sailgating" program.
